Cattivo is nestled about halfway between the Allegheny River and Butler Street in the heart of Pittsburgh’s artsy neighborhood, Lawrenceville.  We have been open for over 20+ years and are a willing participant in the renewed vibrancy of the neighborhood.

We have always fostered an atmosphere that is inclusive, friendly and diverse. Cattivo has been host to many bands, local & national, benefits, DJ dance parties, private parties and more.  Our bar is fully stocked and our kitchen serves a variety of bar eats. You're going to have a great time!  Our goal is to keep the Cattivo what it has always been – a great neighborhood bar, music venue and local hangout where everyone feels welcome. We are proud of our food, proud of our venue, and proud to be a part of Lawrenceville. 

We strive to showcase live music.  Cattivo has been host to countless local, national and international touring acts, booking all ranges of acoustic, indie rock, jam, reggae, punk, metal, electronic, brass & more.

If you would like to host party at Cattivo, we have the space for you.  We've held many corporate events, public meetings, benefits, holiday parties etc.  In house catering is available.  The space is based upon availability. 

When we're not hosting live music & DJs, Cattivo is a great place to just hangout.  We have pool tables, darts, pinball and an online jukebox.  Happy hour specials are available 5-7pm.  The kitchen is open 4-1am during open hours.  These events are subject to change.
